Pumarosa is a website that is free to the public.

Our mission is to help our users learn how to read. However, most importantly,
Pumarosa wants to help users learn how to speak in English.

In order to help educational programming, the Polis-Schutz family has graciously
funded Pumarosa Pumarosa. Dr. Stephen Schutz, is a physicist and artist.
Over the years, he has become increasingly interested in teaching people how to read.
His wife, Susan Polis Schutz, is a well-known poet. In the late 1960's she taught in
New Jersey and New York. Their son, Jared Schutz-Polis, is a member of the
Board of Education in Colorado. Jared Polis funded “The American School” in Colorado,
which are dedicated to helping immigrants learn to speak, read and write in English.

The Polis-Schutz family, passionate about making the world a better place, is excited
about having the opportunity to use the internet to help users learn houw to read and
speak English.

Vanessa Garcia conceived all of the material on-line for Pumarosa, with Roger Wilson
on system development of the site.
